Ballet at Hatch House - The Covent Garden Dance Company
Ballet evenings were first given at Hatch House in the summer of 2010. The dream-like C17th Arts & Crafts garden in its pastoral setting turned out to be a wild and exciting theatre for ballet performances. 2017 is the eighth year this internationally renowned event has been held at Hatch House and welcomed the amazing Lucia Lacarra to the Harlequin Stage in the walled garden.
Matt Brady, the Covent Garden Dance Company’s impresario, whose imagination devised this grand plan, brings ballet stars from all over the world including; Carlos Acosta, Mara Galeazzi (CGDC Dancer in Residence for 2017), Marlon Dino, Vadim Muntagirov, Daria Klimentova, Elena Glurjidze, Laura Morera, Silvia Azzoni, Oleksandr Ryabko, Vitali Safronkine, Camille Aublé, Ksenia Ovsyanick and Gregory Dean.
The stage is set within the entire Dutch Garden, which is completely covered by a tent to create a stunning and living theatre. The audience is seated at tables and served dinner in between the ballets. There is always a mix of styles from the exquisitely classical to the fabulously contemporary and as always there will be world premieres of brand new works by the art’s most talented emerging talents.  Tickets include a glass of champagne in the grounds on arrival, a three course dinner with wines and of course the ballet performances.

It's a truly magical, unique and spectacular evening.
Matt Brady has set up the Dicky Buckle Charitable Fund to finance new ballets by modern choreographers. (Charity number: 116 3430)
